ABOUT US
Disciplined. Certified. Practical.
NexGen Consultations and our mission
NexGen Consultations, LLC was founded in 2017 to deliver applied performance improvement and practical management consulting to organizations that need measurable change. Based in Kansas City, MO, we are a small, locally owned, disabled veteran-owned firm combining academic training, professional certification, and hands-on operational experience to help clients achieve sustainable improvements.
Our mission is simple: empower organizations to operate more effectively, engage communities meaningfully, and scale growth with fewer growing pains.

Why a focused consulting partner matters
Organizations often struggle because they lack the time, internal expertise, or impartial perspective needed to solve complex operational problems. Our clients benefit from targeted expertise that brings structure to ambiguity, accelerates improvement, and builds internal capability. Whether you are a nonprofit expanding services, a startup prepping for scale, or an established organization improving customer experience, a focused consultant helps you prioritize actions with the highest value and ensures the work is executed well.
Founding story and our values
NexGen was founded by a performance improvement specialist with a Master of Science in Performance Improvement and certifications that include Prosci and Lean Six Sigma. Inspired by service and an emphasis on measurable outcomes, our founder brought together practical tools and leadership experience to form a consultancy that focuses on both people and processes. Our core values reflect this heritage:
Service before self
From military roots to client-first engagement.
Practicality over complexity
Solutions must be implementable and sustainable.
Partnership over prescription
We work with your team to ensure transfer of capability.
Our credentials and what they mean

This model allows us to remain agile, focused, and cost-effective.
Commitment to veterans and diversity
As a disabled veteran-owned business, we are committed to inclusive hiring, mentorship, and community reinvestment. We value diverse experience and believe teams that reflect multiple perspectives deliver better outcomes. Where possible, we seek to engage and subcontract with diverse suppliers and local partners.
Measuring success and accountability
Every NexGen engagement establishes clear success metrics tied to organizational outcomes: cycle times, cost reductions, customer satisfaction, employee engagement, or revenue. We use these metrics to guide implementation and report outcomes transparently. We also emphasize capability transfer — training and coaching to ensure your organization can sustain and build on improvements after our engagement ends.
